Dear Bedford Community Members-

As a proud Bedford native, my roots in our community run deep. Raised in a household where education was both a profession and a passion, my father's 30-year tenure as a principal in Bedford instilled in me a profound respect for the educational system. The people I love most spent their lives dedicated to Bedford Public Education Excellence. My own journey through Bedford schools from grades 1 to 8 shaped my understanding and appreciation of the foundational role that education plays in our lives.

My professional path has been diverse, from hands-on experience as a paraprofessional and classroom teacher to a 20-year career in Information Technology. This blend of educational and technical expertise uniquely positions me to contribute to our schools' success in an increasingly digital world.

Choosing to raise my children in Bedford was a decision made easy because of its excellent schools. My commitment to our community's educational excellence is not just professional but deeply personal. I have stood before the school board to advocate for change, drawing from my experiences to push for an education system that serves every child, regardless of their background or abilities. I envision a school district where every decision is guided by data and every district goal is clear and measurable.

If elected, I will deepen my understanding of our curriculum and explore how data analysis can identify and address any existing gaps. My focus will be on the essential questions that determine our children's future: What do we want our kids to learn to be college or career-ready? How do we support every learner, from those who excel and are ready to advance, to those who need additional support?

I offer you a promise that is both sincere and straightforward - to maintain open lines of communication, to represent our community with unwavering dedication, and to commit wholeheartedly to the continuous improvement of our schools.
