Man Charged with Second-Degree Murder
Drew Morris allegedly shot a Manchester man numerous times with a handgun, according to police.

A local man has been charged with the murder of another man in the Queen City, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Drew Morris, 32, of Amherst Street in Manchester, was arrested on Aug. 18, 2015, and charged with second-degree murder.

According to the NH AG and Manchester Police, officers were called to Amherst Street at around 4 a.m. on Aug. 18, for a report of a shooting in an apartment building.
When officers arrived, they found Raymond Drake, 44, of Manchester, deceased inside the building. Currently, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy to verify Drake’s exact cause and manner of death. The results are expected later today.

Morris was arrested later in the day. Officials noted in a press statement that Morris was charged “for recklessly causing the death of Raymond Drake under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life, by shooting him several times with a handgun.” He is expected to be arraigned in Manchester District Court this morning.
