Man Gets 57 Months in Prison for Robbing Bedford Bank

Ryan Freeman, 27, was sentenced today after robbing the TD Bank on South River Road in July 2015.

CONCORD, NH — A Queen City man has been sentenced to nearly five years in jail after pleading guilty to a single count of bank robbery. Ryan Freeman, 27, of Manchester, was sentenced today to 57 months in prison in U.S. District Court today, according to a press statement from U.S. Attorney Emily Gray Rice.

Freeman changed his plea back on Feb. 1, to guilty after it was established in court that he entered the TD Bank on South River Road in Bedford on July 26, 2015, and robbed the facility.

“He approached a teller, demanded $10,000, and threatened to blow her brains out if she did not comply,” Rice stated. “The teller provided a sum of money to Freeman and he left the bank. Witnesses saw him leave the bank in a gold Volvo, which was later recovered after being abandoned near Exit 4 on I-293.”
