Manchester Food Co-op Raising $1.5M by June 30

Kick-off event held at the Bedford Village Inn; Bedford location plans unveiled May 19.

BEDFORD, NH - The Manchester Food Co-op is officially kicking of its Member Investment Campaign with its 1,300-plus Member Owners, according to a press statement.

The event will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at the Bedford Village Inn, 2 Olde Bedford Way, Bedford. The org will also unveil plans for the Manchester Food Co-op’s new store in Bedford and how Member-Owners can invest in the project.

The Manchester Food Co-op plans to lease the current Harvest Market space from the Associated Grocers of New England (AGNE) and transform it into a new 100 percent community-owned store. Shoppers will be able to enjoy local, organic and sustainable food and products, as well as benefit from a lineup of continuous educational and community programs.

The Co-op’s goal is to raise $1.5million by June 30, 2016.
