Manchester Police Investigating Hit-And-Run With Serious Bodily Injury
A pedestrian was injured in an early morning hit-and-run crash on Sunday around Union and Merrimack streets; info on dark hatchback sought.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police in Manchester are investigating a crash where a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and suffered serious bodily injury on Sunday.
Around 6:30 a.m., police were sent to Union and Merrimack streets for a report of a person down on the road. The man, 35, a resident of the Queen City, was suffering what appeared to be a severe head injury. The man was taken to the hospital by American Medical Response EMTs.
“Through the course of the investigation, the Manchester Police Department determined that the pedestrian had been struck by a motor vehicle while attempting to cross Union Street,” Lt. Greg DiTullio, with the community affairs division-SWAT team, with the Manchester Police Department, said. “The motor vehicle involved in this collision fled the scene.”

Via surveillance footage, police obtained a photo of the suspect vehicle — “which appears to be a dark-colored four-door hatchback,” he said.
Police are looking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating the suspect vehicle involved in the collision. Anyone with information was asked to call Manchester Police Department Traffic Unit at 603-668-8711.
