Manchester Police Investigating Scratch Ticket Smash-And-Grabs

Watch: Queen City police say two men burglarized convenience stores on Mammoth Road and stole scratch tickets and cigarettes Friday.

MANCHESTER, NH — Manchester police are investigating an overnight scratch ticket smash-and-grab at the Mammoth Road Convenience Store. Police said at about 2:30 a.m. two suspects broke the glass of the front door, scooped up boxes full of scratch ticket rolls, and were in an out of the store in less than a minute.

The burglary was one of two on Mammoth Road within 24 hours. At about 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning, Manchester police said two men broke into the Heavens Gas through the back door and stole cigarettes and lottery tickets.

Both suspects in the smash-and-grab were wearing hoods and caught on surveillance video. A K9 track was done, but was unsuccessful in locating the suspects.
