Manchester Workman Allegedly Robs Dunbarton Homeowners

Jonathan Lacourse, 20, of Manchester, is accused of stealing jewelry from people who hired him to do work on their house, police say.

Dunbarton police say a Manchester workman used his break to rifle some jewels from a house on Mansion Road.

Jonathan Lacourse, 20, was hired to do some work on a home. He fled when the homeowners accused him of stealing some jewelry.

Police responded at 2 p.m. on Saturday and took a report. They later found the suspect in Goffstown. He was taken into custody when police found he had the missing jewels. Goffstown police assisted.

According to the officers, the jewelry was worth more than $1,400. Police say he admitted taking them.

Lacourse has been charged with felony theft by unauthorized taking. He is due Oct. 3 in 6th Circuit - Concord District Court. His bail conditions included a provision he is to have no contact with the victims.
