By now, everyone in Bedford is aware of the fact that as of the first week in March, we have a new Town Manager. Have you met Steve Daly yet?
I had the pleasure of doing a “Tell It Like It Is” show last week with Steve that is now available for your viewing. We talk about his experiences before coming to Bedford, his first impressions as he started working here, and his visions as to what are likely to be the big issues in town this year. You’ll also hear his thoughts on what is needed to improve the town’s economic development efforts, the effects of the ever-increasing school budget on everything else in Bedford, the proposed new fire station, the Joppa Hill Farm, the recent Zoning Board decision against the proposed Route 101 Hess gas station, and the current effort to get a license for a low-power radio station in Bedford.
The show titled “Meet the New Town Manager” will begin airing on BCTV Channel 16 on Friday, and will run through to Thursday evening, May 5 on the following schedule:
