Milford Man Faces DWI, Other Charges After Crashing Mustang Repeatedly

Bedford Police: Andrew Evans crashed into a vehicle at a gentlemen's club and fled cops at 90 mph on South River Road Saturday morning.

BEDFORD, NH — A local man was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly attempting to flee police after a drunk driving crash in a parking lot of a strip club in Bedford. Andrew Evans, 41, of Milford, was arrested on Sept. 23, 2017, for aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless conduct with a deadly weapon, disobeying an officer, and property damage. At just after 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, an officer working a detail at the Gold Club on South River Road called for assistance after a patron at the club allegedly drove his 2014 Mustang GT into another vehicle in the parking lot before exiting onto Autumn Lane.

Evans, however, allegedly continued driving north and then, crashed his vehicle, according to police.

“An initial investigation by Bedford Police found that Evans had struck a guardrail and a median before ultimately coming to a stop after hitting a second guardrail on the northbound side of South River Road just before the Everett Turnpike overpass,” Bryfonski said. “Evans was transported to an area hospital with injuries that are considered to be serious but non-life-threatening.”

Evans was released on personal recognizance bail and is due in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Oct. 10.
