Milford Woman, Bedford Man Busted for Heroin in Salem
Police allege a baby was near syringes in the parking lot of Babies R Us.

A couple is facing drug charges after allegedly being caught with syringes in the parking lot of the Babies R Us in Salem on Friday.
Lindsay Bolton, 26, of Milford, was arrested on Oct. 3, on possession of a controlled drug, heroin, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, endangering the welfare of a child, and altering/destroying evidence. Also arrested was Paul Loiselle, 31, of Bedford, and charged with possession of a controlled drug, heroin.
According to police, at around 4 p.m., officers were sent to the Babies R Us parking lot for a report of suspicious activity.

When the officers arrived, they found an employ vehicle “but noticed numerous syringes and drug paraphernalia strewn about inside and outside the vehicle.” A little while later, a man and woman with a small child exited the store and got into the vehicle. Officers then made contact with the pair and determined they were allegedly under the influence of drugs, according to the report.
“While dealing with the adults, the 2-year-old was playing with the female’s purse, reaching in and out of it,” according to Deputy Chief Shawn Patten. “Officers took the purse and observed an uncapped syringe inside it.”

Salem Fire and Rescue teams were called to the scene as a precaution for a prick from the syringe and the child was transported to Holy Family Hospital for screening. The baby was released to a family member, according to the report.
Both Bolton and Loiselle were arrested and transported to the Rockingham County Jail. Bolton was held without bail on a probation violation. Loiselle refused bail. DCYF was also contacted, according to police.
Bolton has a string of arrests in recent years. She was charged with theft by deception and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in 2013. Bolton was charge in Milford in 2013 for forgery. She was also charged with shoplifting in 2013. Loiselle was arrested in 2006 on a driving charge and in 2013 he was charged with willful concealment.
