Pageants Among Deerfield Fair Activities

The annual Deerfield Fair, which is begins tomorrow, Sept. 27 and runs through through Sunday, Sept. 30, will feature two pageants that have become favorites in recent years among fair-goers.

The Miss Deerfield Fair Pageant will be held Friday, Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. on the fair's Main Stage.

It is made up of the following categories: a personal interview, a swimsuit competition, a talent presentation, and an evening wear competition.

There will be prizes for each participant, and the winner of the title will receive a $1,500 scholarship and will participate in the 2013 Miss New Hampshire Pageant of 2013.

Then, on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 10:30 a.m., the Main Stage will feature the Little Miss Pageant, which is open for 5- to 7-year-old girls.

Children 12 and under are free, as is parking to the fair.

And, the fair is featuring a midway special of $25 for all rides between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday and Sunday.
