Mona Treadway of Klamath Falls, Oregon Receives PhD in Leadership and Change from Antioch University

Dr. Treadway is the co-founder and owner of Dragonfly Transitions - a therapeutic program for young adults in Southern Oregon.

Dr. Mona Treadway of Klamath Falls, Oregon has been awarded a PhD in Leadership and Change from Antioch University. Her dissertation titled, Young Adults in Transition: Factors that Support and Hinder Growth and Change, provides a “unifying, holistic model of change for young adult transition programs.” Several key findings from Dr. Treadway’s research and data emerged, such as the importance of interpersonal relationships, experiential education and adventure, individualized programming, as well as the importance of community and culture. Dr. Treadway received her Bachelor of Arts in Wilderness Leadership and Human Development from Prescott College, Arizona and her Masters in Social Work from Portland State University, Oregon. She is the co-founder and owner of Dragonfly Transitions - a therapeutic program for young adults in Southern Oregon. Since 2000, Dr. Treadway’s vision has supported the growth of the organization and as a result it has served hundreds of young adults and their families during this crucial stage of life development.
