MY TURN Celebrates Third Annual Bright Futures Social Event and Fundraiser on April 27

Organization provides underserved youth with pathways out of poverty through academic and employment training

Manchester, NH – On Thursday, April 27, My TURN celebrates their Third Annual Bright Futures Social Event and Fundraiser as they highlight their award winning programs and honor the hard work of the individuals and locally owned businesses that make it all possible. MY TURN – an organization dedicated to providing underserved young people with pathways out of poverty through academic and employment training in a supportive environment – invites business leaders and community members to join them from 5:30 to 8:00 pm at the Derryfield Country Club, 625 Mammoth Road, Manchester. The event will feature networking, live and silent auctions and food and drinks.

“Our participants are some of the most amazing young people you could possibly imagine and I am constantly inspired by their motivation and drive to create better lives for themselves despite all of the obstacles they must overcome,” said Allison Joseph, executive direct at MY TURN. “It’s really quite remarkable to be able to completely change the course of someone’s life by simply providing access to post-secondary learning and employment opportunities. We are grateful to the community for their generous donations and support and look forward to celebrating our accomplishments with them on April 27.”

The organization seeks to raise $40,000 at the Bright Futures event to help close the gap on some of the most critical expenses that existing grants don’t otherwise cover. Funds raised will directly support tuition, transportation, housing and supportive services for current and future participants of the program.
