New Hampshire Girl's Death Ruled Homicide
Attorney General's Office releases statement after receiving 11-year-old Celina Cass' autopsy results.

Celina Cass was murdered, the state announced today.
New Hampshire Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Jennie V. Duval made the ruling Sept. 22 after further investigation and after receiving toxicology results.
"While Dr. Duval has also determined the cause of death of Celina Cass, that result is not being made public at this juncture," reads a statement released by the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office. "The premature public disclosure of Cass's cause of death could have an impact on the integrity of the investigation in a negative manner. The investigation into the facts and circumstances of Celina Cass's murder remains active."

Cass' body was discovered Aug. 1 in a river not far from her hom in West Stewartstown. The investigation continues.
