UPDATE: Person of Interest in Murder Case Found

NHSP have this man, who may be involved in the shooting death of Michael Pittman earlier this month in Manchester, in custody.

UPDATED, 10:58 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2015: According to the NH AG, “the person of interest referenced earlier this evening has been located by Manchester Police Department with the assistance of the New Hampshire State Police. No further information is being released at this time.” On Twitter, Police Chief Willard stated, “Fantastic work by the detectives and their LE partners!!”

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who may be involved in the Nov. 3, 2015, murder of a Manchester man.

Manchester Police Department and the Attorney General’s Office have released this surveillance photo of an unknown man who is “believed to be involved in the shooting death of Michael Pittman” on Granite Street in Manchester.

“This individual’s identity and location are currently unknown to law enforcement,” according to an alert. “Investigators are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating this man.”

The still photographs were captured by a surveillance camera at a nearby convenience store prior to the shooting. This individual is believed to be a black or Hispanic male with facial hair.

“This man is considered dangerous and may be armed,” according to the alert. ”The public should not approach or engage with this individual.”

Anyone with information should call the Manchester Police Department Crime Line at 603-624-4040 or 603-668-8711.If anyone knows the identity of this individual and/or his current location, they are encouraged to call the Manchester Crime Line at 603-624-4040.

A reward of up to $2,500 is available from the Manchester Crime Line for information that leads to the arrest or conviction of this individual, who is depicted in the accompanying surveillance photos.As was noted previously, this homicide does not appear to be random based on the information gathered to date. Nonetheless, until the perpetrator(s) is apprehended, the public is reminded to remain vigilant.
