NH Army Reservist Wins $1M Mass. Lottery Scratch Ticket
Alexander LaVertue of Manchester won the ticket at the The Town Variety on Central Street in Peabody, MA.

PEABODY, MA – The Town Variety on Central Street in Peabody, MA, sold a $1 million lottery ticket to Alexander LaVertue of Manchester, according to the Mass. State Lottery. LaVertue recently completed his U.S. Army Reserve basic training, the org noted in a press statement. The wining ticket was the 12th in the state lottery's new "200X" $30 instant game. Town Variety will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
There are four $15 million prizes and 66 $1 million instant prizes remaining in the game, which began in April. The game also has four second chance drawings, which have a top prize of $1 million.
