NH Campground Owners Association Collects for Food Bank
Nearly 7,000 lbs. of food collected as camping and RV show in March which amounts to more than 5,700 meals for people in need.

Thanks to the generosity of attendees, the New Hampshire Campground Owners Association (NeHaCa) collected 6,891 lbs. of food at their annual New Hampshire Camping & RV Show held at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford in late March, in a press release.
The food donation will provide approximately 5,743 meals to those in need throughout New Hampshire. For the past four years, NeHaCa has run a food donation drive at their Camping & RV Show, giving attendees $2 off admission with a donation of two non-perishable food items for the Food Bank.
“We are pleased to provide a venue for camping enthusiasts to contribute and help make a difference in the lives of families throughout New Hampshire.” said NeHaCa Executive Director Gregg Pitman.

About the New Hampshire Food Bank
The New Hampshire Food Bank, a program of New Hampshire Catholic Charities, serves as the only food bank in the state, working to provide nutritious food and resources to the hundreds of thousands of New Hampshire residents that are food insecure. The Food Bank supplies millions of pounds of food annually to more than 400 partner agencies, including food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, children’s programs, senior centers and more. In turn, these agencies provide hunger relief to those suffering from food insecurity throughout the state.

Established more than 50 years ago, by New Hampshire campground owners the primary purpose of the New Hampshire Campground Owners’ Association is to promote camping in New Hampshire.
