NH 'Fugitive Of The Week' In Gun Case Captured

Christopher Mann escaped a New Hampshire drug treatment facility after serving 12 years in prison, officials said.

MANCHESTER, NH — A man featured as New Hampshire's "fugitive of the week" last week has been arrested, authorities announced Monday. Christopher Mann, 34, recently escaped a drug treatment facility in Dublin, officials said. At the time, he was on supervised released after serving 12 years in jail in a gun threat case.

Police had considered him "armed and dangerous" and a "known drug abuser."

Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Wilson said Mann was tracked down to Manchester Monday. Police received "numerous" tips Mann was in a black Saturn living with a woman on South Beech Street. Officers did indeed find him in that vehicle with a woman and took him into custody, Wilson said.
