NH Man Arrested for DWI After Two-Car Crash on Route 101

Police: Yamil Castillo was arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated after a crash yesterday afternoon.

BEDFORD, NH — A local man was arrested for DWI after a crash on Route 101 in Bedford, according to police. Yamil Castillo, 31, of Dover, was arrested on Jan. 26, 2017, for aggravated driving while intoxicated.

Police were sent to a report of a crash on Route 101 near Route 114 yesterday at around 5:30 p.m., according to Bedford Police Chief John J. Bryfonski.

"Upon arrival, officers found that Castillo, who was driving a 2008 Jeep Compass, had rear-ended a 2007 Jeep Wrangler,” he alleged. “Neither driver was injured. Through an on-scene investigation, police determined that Castillo was driving under the influence of alcohol.”

Castillo was arrested, processed, and released. He’s due in court on Feb. 7.
