NH Man Pleads Guilty to Possession of Child Pornography
Bedford and Manchester Police found images on various electronic devices in Allan Yianakopolos' home.

CONCORD, NH — A Manchester man has pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography in U.S. District Court, according to U.S. Attorney Emily Gray Rice. Allan Yianakopolos, 49, of Manchester, pled guilty on Jan. 26, 2017, after a joint investigation by the New Hampshire Crimes Against Children Task Force, Homeland Security, and the Bedford and Manchester Police Departments resulted in the seizure of various electronic devices from Yianakopolos’s Manchester residence.
"A search of those devices revealed hundreds of images and videos of child pornography," according to Rice.
Sentencing is scheduled for May 10, 2017.

In February 2006, the Department of Justice introduced Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative designed to protect children from online exploitation and abuse. Led by the United States Attorneys Offices, Project Safe Childhood marshals federal, state and local resources to better locate, apprehend, and prosecute individuals who exploit children via the Internet, as well as identify and rescue victims. The case was investigated by the New Hampshire Crimes Against Children Task Force in conjunction Homeland Security Investigations Manchester, and the police departments of Manchester and Bedford, New Hampshire. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Georgiana Konesky.
