NH Marine, Home on Leave, Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Family sets up GoFundMe site for Jean-Benoit Muyuka, 21, of Manchester who passed away on April 20, after an accident on Brown Avenue.

MANCHESTER, NH - Queen City police have released the name of a man killed on a motorcycle on April 20, 2016, on Brown Avenue in the South End of the city.

Jean-Benoit Muyuka, 21, was operating a Honda motorcycle when he collided with a Honda Accord being driven by a Hooksett man in the area of Raymond Street at around 7:30 p.m.

Muyuka was a U.S. Marine and back in New Hampshire on leave. His family has set up a GoFundMe.com fundraising site in an effort to raise $7,000 to offset funeral expenses.

Jeffrey Hastings of Frame of Mind Photography, who also runs the Manchester Information Facebook site, posted these pictures of the crash scene earlier this week.

According to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department, the traffic unit is still investigating the incident so no further information about the crash is available.
