NH Police Investigating Child’s Untimely Death
A 2-year-old from Manchester was transported to Elliot Hospital with cardiac arrest and did not survive, according to reports.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police in the Queen City are investigating an untimely death of a child on Howe Street, according to reports. Manchester Police were sent a three-family apartment building for a report of an unconscious person on Dec. 11, 2017, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.
“The unconscious individual was transported to the Elliot Hospital, but was pronounced deceased a short time later,” he noted.
The department has spearheaded an investigation into the death, he noted.

According to scanner chatter, the individual that passed away was a 2-year-old child who had cardiac arrest. A heavy police presence was reported at both the apartment building and the hospital, according to the Manchester Information Facebook page.
At just before 5 p.m., the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office issued a press statement and said the death of the child "appears suspicious." An autopsy will be performed tomorrow.
