On December 5, members of the New Hampshire State Police from across the state converged on the Toys-R-Us store in Manchester to deliver many boxes of toys to the United States Marine Corps Reserve as they kicked off their annual Toys for Tots drive.
The State Police convoy, led by the State Police bag piper, Tr. Michael McLaughlin, were met by two members of the US Marine Corp Reserve with many gifts gathered from the State Police family across the State. Members of the State Police from the North Country to the Gate City, from the seacoast to the western region of the State provided gifts for this worthy cause.
The New Hampshire State Police fully support the goal of Toys for Tots to deliver, through a new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to less fortunate youngsters that will assist them in becoming responsible, productive, patriotic citizens. In partnering with the US Marine Corps Reserve, members of the entire State Police family have hopefully brightened a child’s holiday season
