NHCUC College Job Fair Held at Saint Anselm on April 7
Are you a soon-to-be college grad? More than 100 local businesses will be at the Sullivan Arena tomorrow to meet with you.

CONCORD, NH - With a statewide unemployment rate below 3 percent, business owners recognize in times of rising prosperity, it can be hard to find good help these days.
That’s partly why so many companies have signed up for the 2016 NHCUC College Job Fair. The job market is bright in New Hampshire. Thanks to a shrinking unemployment rate, and a growing list of local businesses are looking to expand and hire, which leads to opportunity for today’s college graduates.
The 43rd annual job fair will be held in the Sullivan Arena at Saint Anselm College on Thursday, April 7, 2016, from 2 to 5 p.m.

“The large number of participating businesses is a clear signal to graduates that there are terrific jobs out there,” said Tom Horgan, president of New Hampshire College and University Council. “From manufacturing to high tech to tourism and the service industry, we have found many in the private sector seek well-trained and qualified young workers to fill a variety of positions. They are hiring right now.”
The job fair offers immediate results. This year, more than 100 businesses will meet students and conduct job interviews. Students will also be invited to join internships, explore graduate school, and network with business owners from around the region.

“Given the increasing demand from businesses for highly skilled employees, students understand the need to be well-prepared and well-educated,” explained Horgan. “And businesses understand our job fair features some of the best and brightest of the Class of 2016, so more of them are signing up to participate.”
Students from 22 New Hampshire colleges and universities will participate in the job fair, which is one of the largest and oldest of its kind in New England. The job fair is free for college students and recent graduates of participating schools.
