NHSP: Goffstown Teen Kidnapped Girl

Alex Denis arrested on unlawful sexual conduct charge after allegedly taking Boscawen girl to Maine.

A local teen was arrested last night after allegedly kidnapping a 13-year-old girl, according to New Hampshire State Police.

Alex Denis, 19, of Goffstown, was arrested on April 3, 2015, and charged with unlawful sexual conduct.

According to state police, at around 4 a.m. this morning, troopers were sent to Boscawen to assist with a case involving a missing girl who was last seen around 8 p.m. on April 2.

During the process of investigating the incident, the troopers learned that the girl might be with Denis. They later were able to determine that Denis allegedly took the girl to York, Maine.

Police in York were notified and officers there were able to find Denis and the girl. They were both taken into custody without incident, according to the report.

Denis was arrested and held without bail. The girl was reunited with her family.

State Police filed a warrant against Denis on a kidnapping charge and will arrest him after he is extradited in the case.
