On the Trail with Team Guinta!

Beloved former State Representative and current Derry Town Councilor, Phyllis Katsiakores, sat down with us this week to discuss her reasons for joining Team Guinta. Thank you for your continued support and for all you have done on behalf of Derry, and New Hampshire. Take a look!

This week marked the 8th consecutive week of endorsement releases, bringing the total count of activists, community leaders, elected and state officials to 200. This milestone is proof positive that our message is resonating with Granite Staters who are looking to take their country back this fall. You can find the releases with the following links March 3rd, March 10th, March 17th, March 21st, March 31st, April 4th, April 14th, and April 21st.

Late last week, we traveled to Ossipee to join the Carroll County Republican Committee at their monthly meeting. We talked about ObamaCare, limited government, the depressed economy and the landscape of this year’s election cycle. It is always a great time to be in the North Country with good friends and supporters. Thank you to Joanne Haight, Chair of the CCRC for inviting me to speak!

Our Health Care Listening Tour continued in Hampstead where we met with brokers specializing in the design and implementation of employee benefit programs. It became clear from the presentation that premiums are increasing (and in many cases increasing a great deal.) The idea that we have to choose between ObamaCare and nothing is a false choice. On this Tour, we have outlined numerous initiatives (many bipartisan) which would immediately decrease costs and increase access to care. There are far less costly alternatives to ObamaCare’s $2 trillion tax and spending, top/down, government approach.

Last night, we traveled back to the Seacoast to meet with the Portsmouth Republican Committee at Café Nostimo. There was a great deal of enthusiasm and passion in the room; they were very concerned with the direction in which our country is heading. We talked at length about the need to hold officials in Washington accountable for their actions or inaction as is often the case. And we went into details regarding my positions on several issues and how members could become involved in our Campaign. I’m looking forward to returning to Portsmouth in the near future and thank Sue Polidura for inviting us!

Lastly, we reissued our weeks old challenge to Congresswoman Shea-Porter to hold a Town Hall in every county in the District, as I did. You can find the release HERE.

Please visit our website if you would like to sign up to volunteer for our Campaign, and let me or my staff know if you have any questions, comments or concerns!

We’ll see you out on the Trail!

Best,
Frank Guinta
Candidate for Congress
