Parking Spat Leads To Gun Threat Charge: Cops
Karter Morrison was arrested yesterday after allegedly threatening another man with a 9 mm handgun.

MANCHESTER, NH — A parking dispute in the Queen City led to an Amherst Street tenant being charged with felony criminal threatening, according to police. At just after 9 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2018, police in Manchester were sent to an apartment building for a report of a man being threatened with a loaded handgun, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. The victim – a man in his 20s – spoke to another tenant in the building, asking him to move his vehicle because it was blocking the victim’s vehicle.
“The victim said he knocked on the second-floor apartment and eventually engaged in a conversation with an unknown male inside of Apartment 2,” O’Keefe alleged. “The man eventually opened the door and allegedly pointed a black handgun while ordering him to vacate the premises. The victim feared for his safety so he retreated back to the parking lot and called the Manchester Police Department.”
An officer spoke with the tenant on the second-floor – Karter Morrison, 25, of Manchester – and later, allegedly located a loaded 9 mm handgun inside of the apartment. Morrison was arrested on a felony criminal threatening charge, without incident, and released on $5,000 bail. He’s due in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North on Jan. 18.
