Partnership Expands New England Valuation Practice

BEDFORD, NH — HSSK, a leading valuation, forensics, financial advisory and financial restructuring firm announces a merger with Livermore Consulting Group, LLC, a full-service valuation and litigation support group based in Bedford. Effective Oct. 3, 2016, Livermore Consulting Group Founder Cyndi Livermore and her staff joined HSSK’s team of experts and 40 years of experience, according to a press statement.

Livermore Consulting Group will continue to operate as a division of HSSK serving the New England area.

The decision was a natural choice for Livermore, whose firm specializes in business valuation, economic damages and litigation support services, sectors which HSSK also serves. Not only does the merger increase HSSK’s resources, but it allows Livermore’s existing clients access to HSSK’s expanded services and expertise.

“We are always looking for new ways to provide stronger support to the clients we work with, and this merger is a great way to offer something more,” said Livermore. “With HSSK’s experience in financial restructuring and forensics, I think this transition will be very positive for everyone involved.”

A Texas native, Livermore has carried out hundreds of business valuations for industries such as agribusiness, energy transmission, real estate holdings and retail. Her experience includes work with lost business value, lost profits, estate and gift tax matters, succession planning, employee stock ownership plans and marital dissolution.

Livermore’s extensive experience includes time serving as a partner with New England’s Howell & Livermore firm, and as managing director of business valuations for a Chicago-based divorce and financial forensic firm. She started her appraisal career with a Dallas-based boutique business valuation firm specializing in complex estate and gift tax, and employee stock option plans.

Mike Hill Sr., who heads up HSSK’s Dallas office, said he welcomes the firm’s newest additions and looks forward to serving clients who are new to the Texas firm.
