Police Hunting for Suspect in Weekend Robberies
Two stores in Manchester's West End were hit at gunpoint on Saturday and investigators would like assistance with the cases.

MANCHESTER, NH — The Manchester Police Department is asking for the public’s help with what appears to be the same individual that reportedly hit two stores this weekend in the Queen City, according to a press alert. At around 7:15 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, Crosstown Variety on Bremer Street was robbed, reportedly by a suspect armed with a handgun, demanding cash, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.
On Sunday, at just before 7 p.m., a second robbery – this time, at the Bremer Street Food Mart, about seven blocks away from Crosstown Variety – was struck.
“The suspect for both robberies is described as Caucasian male, approximately 5 feet, 5 inches, 135 lbs.,” O’Keefe alleged. “He was last seen on foot while wearing all black clothing, gloves, hood with a black baklava style hat. He was armed with a semi-automatic handgun when he absconded with an undisclosed amount of cash from each store.”
