Police Investigating Burglary on Brick Mill Road
Bedford Police looking for a white man, late 20s, with "distinct blue eyes."

The Bedford Police Department is looking for the public’s help in identifying a possible burglary suspect from earlier today, according to a press statement.
At about 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 27, 2015, police were called to Brick Mill Road for a past tense burglary.
The homeowner reported that someone knocked on her door but she didn’t answer it. A short time later, there was a loud banging at the door.

“When she went down stairs to see who was at the door she discovered a male subject whom she did not recognize,” according to a statement from Lt. Michael Bernard of the Bedford Police Department. “The subject appeared very nervous and stated he was looking for another male subject. The subject then abruptly ran to his vehicle and drove away.”
The man was described as white, in his late 20s, about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with a medium build. He had curly brown hair and “distinct blue eyes,” according to the report.

The man drove away in older model minivan that was grayish blue in color.
“It appears that the subject was attempting to gain entry in to the household,” he said. “The Bedford Police is asking anyone who may have seen this vehicle or the subject in the area of Brick Mill Road around 1:30 p.m. to contact the Bedford Police at 472-5113.”
