Manchester Police were called to the7-Eleven on 111 Webster St. at around 12:20 a.m. on Oct. 23, 2015, for a robbery report.
When police arrived, a clerk stated that he was behind the register when a male customer entered the store and approached the counter. He said the man placed several items on the counter then reportedly demanded cash from the register as he held one hand inside of his sweatshirt pocket. He said the man alluded to being armed with a handgun based on the position of his hand, inside of the pocket. He was not sure if it was a handgun or his hand, so he complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash.
The clerk described the suspect as white, around 50-years-old, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, and some facial stubble. He was wearing a dark colored, possibly navy blue hooded sweatshirt and light colored pants. A vehicle was seen leaving the gas pumps shortly after the man walked outside of the store. The vehicle is described as a newer model, dark colored Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan. It is unknown if the vehicle was involved in the actual robbery because the clerk did not see the man enter the vehicle. Instead, he remained inside of the store and notified police of his encounter with the suspect.
