Police Seek Info on Armed Robbery Suspect

Crosstown Variety, located at 270 Amory St. was robbed at knifepoint on Aug. 25, 2015, by an unknown male subject.

The victim stated he was in the back of the store at around 8:30 p.m. when an unknown male entered the store and demanded cash.

The victim gave the following description; caucasian male, approximately 5-feet, 7-inches, thin build, light facial hair wearing a pair of white sunglasses, dark gray quarter zip hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black shoes and one orange glove (on his right hand).

The suspect allegedly demanded cash from the register while brandishing a knife (no further description of the knife). The suspect’s actions of overtly brandishing a knife caused the victim to fear for his safety. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of United States currency.
