Police Seek Info on Bank Robbery Suspect

The Citizens Bank on Elm Street in Manchester was hit this afternoon.

MANCHESTER, NH — Police in the Queen City are asking for the public’s help identifying an alleged bank robber in that community, according to a press alert. Lt. Joseph Mucci of the Manchester Police Department reported that the Citizens Bank on Elm Street was robbed at just before 4:45 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2016.

“During the subsequent investigation, responding officers learned that the suspect approached the counter and demanded cash,” Mucci noted.

The suspect is described as a white male, mid-20s, 5 feet, 7 inches to 8 inches tall, with a thin build and no facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt over another dark colored hooded jacket, a red and blue baseball cap, blue jeans, and a black string pack with a New England Patriots logo.

The suspect fled the bank via the Manchester Street entrance/exit and fled from the area in an unknown direction of travel, according to Mucci.
