Police Seek Tips In Queen City Knife Threat Case
A man allegedly robbed and pulled a knife on a clerk at the N & N Express location at 230 Lowell St. on Nov. 13. Do you recognize him?

MANCHESTER, NH — The Manchester Police Department is asking for the public’s help after an alleged armed robbery in the Queen City two nights ago. According to police, at just before 8:15 p.m. on Nov. 13, 2017, officers were sent to a robbery report at the N & N Express at 230 Lowell St. A man – unknown to the store clerk – reportedly entered the store and then, tried to buy a single beer with a credit card, according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department.

“However, the card was declined, and the suspect began arguing with the 25-year-old clerk and started to head toward the exit with the can of beer,” O’Keefe alleged. “The clerk managed to block his egress until the suspect brandished a knife, so the clerk immediately backed away and allowed the man to flee his store with the stolen item.”

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man with a slender build and brown hair that is thinning. He also had a goatee. The suspect was wearing jeans and a black and red winter coat.
