Police Take 24+ Grams of Heroin Off the Street
Cops arrest Terrence Jackson of Manchester allegedly with more than 24 grams of the drug in his car.

A local man was busted on May 5, allegedly with a large quantity of heroin, according to police.
Terrence Jackson, 22, of Manchester, was arrested on May 5, 2015, and charged with possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and violation of bail. He was also charged with sale of a controlled drug based on an incident on April 15, 2015.
According to police, the special enforcement division, special investigations unit stopped a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta in the parking lot of the Rite Aid on 270 Mammoth Road.

Detectives had “an ongoing case” against Jackson and they received information that he would reportedly be traveling to Lawrence, MA, to allegedly pick up heroin and then, return to the area to sell it.
“Detective’s setup surveillance on Jackson and conducted a motor vehicle stop in the pharmacy parking lot,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. “He was operating a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. He was arrested without incident and taken to police headquarters. A search incident to arrest revealed 24.5 grams of heroin.”

Jackson was arraigned yesterday.
