POLL RESULTS: Readers Like Rubens; Split on Governor's Race

Hemingway, Havenstein down to the wire.

During the weekend, Patch offered the last of its pre-primary online polls on all 12 New Hampshire sites, sampling reader response to the Republican gubernatorial and U.S. Senate primary races.

In both races, even though the polls aren’t scientific and are put together just for fun, the races were pretty tight.

In the gubernatorial race, 270 readers voted with Andrew Hemingway nabbing a slight lead over Walt Havenstein, 46.7 to 45.6 percent. Jonathan Smolin, who was allowed to participate in at least one forum, received more than 4 percent of the vote with Daniel Greene obtaining more than 3 percent.
