POLL RESULTS: Will it be an Innis Upset?

Patch reader poll shows strong support for newcomer in the 1st Congressional District.

During the weekend, on the six New Hampshire Patch sites in the 1st Congressional District, we asked voters who their preferred candidate was in the Republican primary to be held on Sept. 9.

More than 100 people responded and voted for Dan Innis by a more than two-to-one margin against former U.S. Rep. Frank Guinta.

Brendan Kelly and Everett Jabour, two other candidates that were also on the ballot, were far behind.

Of course, as with all online polls, it’s unscientific and put together just for fun and to get a quick sampling of the political landscape. As well, the poll did shut down a tad early, so who knows what the results will be.

Patch will be posting the results from Republican gubernatorial and Senate polls this afternoon.
