Pot Smoke Smell Leads To Crack Pipe, Cocaine: Cops
Kyle Bernier, who was out on bail, was arrested after officers allegedly witnessed a pickup truck making motor vehicle infractions.

MANCHESTER, NH — A local man who was a passenger in a pickup truck that was stopped in the Queen City was arrested on drug and bail condition violation charges last night, according to police. At around 7 p.m. on Dec. 14, 2017, officers stopped a pickup truck on Beech Street near Blodgett “after witnessing several motor vehicle infractions,” according to Lt. Brian O’Keefe of the Manchester Police Department. Officers “immediately” smelled “a strong odor of marijuana” as they spoke to the driver and his passenger, he noted.

“(The driver) consented to a motor vehicle search, so both men exited the pick-up truck,” O’Keefe stated. “The officers located a glass pipe commonly used to smoke crack-cocaine on the passenger’s seat and a small white rock like substance believed to be crack-cocaine on the passenger’s side floorboard.”
