They've done just that, combining their more than 30 years of hospitality education and restaurant experience inside the 60-seat establishment, which is open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m..
The restaurant also offers a fun and creative children’s menu, quick take-out service for those on the run, a gluten free menu and a variety of catering options for businesses, schools and local organizations.
The husband and wife team says the feedback through the first year has been heartwarming, and in response to a generous amount of community support and input, they have re-designed an extensive new menu, which they will introduce during their anniversary celebration.
"We’re really excited for everyone to stop by and join us in celebrating our first year," said Julie Marshall. "We’ve made so many new friends in Bedford, and we can’t wait for them to try our new menu.”
The array of choices will please any palate, she added.
"If you’re looking for a healthy start to the day, try the Power Parfait with organic granola, low-fat yogurt, fresh fruit, whole wheat English muffin and peanut butter," said Julie. "Or choose from the many omelets, waffles, breakfast wraps and benedicts. When you stop by for lunch, you’ll be tempted by a variety of rustic flatbread pizzas, artisan sandwiches, signature wraps, salads (voted 2012 Best Salads, Manchester area) and fresh soups."
“When practical and in season, we will serve locally grown and harvested food, natural ingredients, organic and Fair Trade products,” said Jeff.
