  1. You may spot an unusual bird in your yard or flying overhead in the coming weeks. Rare bird sightings are on the rise in Bedford and the surrounding area as they embark on their winter migration journey. Sharp-eyed observers saw a red-headed woodpecker along Bedford Road in New Boston. Many other rare birds have been reported in New Hampshire. 2. N.H. Rep Rep. Nicole Klein Knight, D-Manchester recently tested positive for COVID-19 and said she unknowingly put her aunt, who recently had open-heart surgery, at risk . Klein Knight believes she may have been exposed to COVID-19 at a recent Committee Meeting and said she only found out after friends saw a post by Rep. Kevin Verville, R-Deerfieldon on Facebook Wednesday saying that he had COVID-19. Klein Knight blamed House Speaker Packard for allowing sick members to participate without masks and insisting that committees meet in person at the State House or Legislative Office Building. A letter written by Reps with medical backgrounds proposed holding a session at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford instead of Representatives Hall. You can read more here: (InDepthNH.org)
