Road Rage Incident Leads to Arrest in Bedford
A Goffstown man was arrested and charged with two felony counts after allegedly brandishing a gun during a road rage incident on I-93 North.

Derek Mailhot, 23, of Goffstown, was arrested by state police in Bedford following a road rage incident in Manchester on June 17.
According to a press release from New Hampshire State Police, Mailhot, driving a blue Ford Explorer on Interstate 93 North, became engaged in a road rage confrontation with the driver of a silver Pontiac Grand Am at roughly 4:10 p.m.
Following an exchange of hand gestures, Mailhot allegedly displayed a .45 caliber semi-automatic handgun.

After being alerted by a 911 call from the Pontiac driver, Trooper Andrew Vittoria identified and stopped the Ford Explorer on Route 101 West, where he searched the vehicle and found the reported firearm.
Mailhot was arrested, charged with felony counts of criminal threatening and reckless conduct and processed at the State Police Troop B barracks in Bedford before being released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.

He is scheduled for arrangement in Manchester District Court on Monday, Aug. 8.
