Rubio to Speak at 'Life of the Party' Event

Saint Anselm College, Stay Work Play team up for new political series aimed at young professionals in New Hampshire.

The New Hampshire Institute of Politics, in partnership with Stay Work Play New Hampshire, will host a new public policy series with presidential candidates and other political figures titled, “Life of the Party,” according to a press statement.

These hour-long events, sponsored by Bank of America, will feature several individuals engaging in conversations with presidential candidates.

The first event of the series will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, at 12:15 p.m. with U.S. Senator Marco Rubio in the New Hampshire Institute of Politics auditorium.

The audience will be comprised of young professionals from all around New Hampshire.

Questions will focus on issues that affect the lives of millennials across the state and on genuine conversation, not specifically tied to politics, but to getting to know the candidate.

A panel consisting of Michael Skelton, president and CEO, Manchester Chamber of Commerce; Kate Luczko, president and CEO, Stay Work Play NH; Drew Cline, a communications consultant; and Jessica Eshleman, development director for the New Hampshire Humanities, will pose questions.

The “Life of the Party” series aims to be unique and engaging, serving those who are looking for an alternative to the traditional political process and specifically to enable young professionals to ask questions of interest to their demographic. Questions will be casual and the dialogue will be free-flowing allowing attendees to get to know the candidate as a person, and not just a political figure.
