Salem Man Killed, Another Injured in Boston Crash

Dillon Cohen, 24, of Salem, was killed in a crash Friday morning in the Sumner Tunnel, Massachusetts State Police say.

A 24-year-old Salem man was killed in the accident that shut down the Sumner Tunnel ramp to I-93 North for several hours early Friday morning.

Dillon Cohen died in the crash, Massachusetts State Police said this afternoon. He is believed to have been a passenger in the 2002 Dodge Ram pickup.

Another Salem man, 23, and a Brighton, Mass., man, 24, were also injured. The Salem man was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, and the Brighton patient went to Tufts. Police said their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening. Their names have not been released.

State Police with Troop E said the investigation is continuing with the assistance of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction and Crime Scene Services Sections and the Suffolk County State Police Detective Unit.
