No Winners Declared in Executive Council Primaries
Breaking: Races are currently too close to call in four competitions.

Four different Executive Council primaries were held on Sept. 13, with no clear winners yet declared in the races.
Executive Council District 2
With nearly half the precincts tabulated in the Executive Council District 2 seat, a crescent shaped district running from Keene to Concord to Rochester, Andru Volinsky has a solid 59 percent of the vote – with more than 4,200 votes – against John Shea, the former Executive Councilor who received 31 percent of the vote – and Shawn Mickelonis, who received 10 percent.

Executive Council District 3
In the Republican primary, Russell Prescott had an 1,100 vote lead again opponent with Kevin Coyle, with nine of 36 precincts counted. Beth Roth of Salem had a 400 vote lead at 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 13, 2016, over Jason Bourdon, who had 563 votes.

The district includes Exeter, Hampton, North Hampton, Portsmouth, Salem, Windham, and other communities in Rockingham County.
Executive Council District 4
With 20 of 30 precincts counted, Joe Kelly Levasseur had 53 percent of the vote in the Republican primary against Jim Adams who had 5,774 votes. The district includes Bedford and Londonderry.
