$15K Heroin Bust: Nashua Woman Charged
Christine Soukaras was arrested in Andover, Massachusetts during a $15,000 drug deal involving over 350 grams of heroin, police said.
ANDOVER, MA — A Nashua woman was arrested Saturday morning after police said they broke up a $15,000 heroin deal. Christine Soukaras, 30, was charged with heroin possession.
The drug deal happened in Andover, Massachusetts on Campanelli Road at about 11:30 a.m., police said. Soukaras allegedly tried to purchase heroin belonging to Jose Morales, 27, of Lawrence, Mass. Detectives witnessed the transaction, according to Andover Police Chief Patrick Keefe. A search of Morales' 2010 Mercedes sport utility vehicle turned up about 350 grams of heroin worth about $15,000 and a small amount of cash, police said.
Morales was held on $50,000 bail pending an arraignment.
