Police: Do you recognize this man? If you do, investigators would like to hear from you.
DERRY, NH — Investigators in Derry are looking to identify a man who allegedly burglarized a middle school in that community earlier this morning, according to a press release. Officers were sent to the Hood Middle School at around 3 a.m. on Nov. 21, 2016, for a report of a burglar alarm activation.
“Responding officers discovered a broken window on the side of the building and indications that entry had been gained,” according to Capt. Vern Thomas of the Derry Police Department. “Officers secured the building and requested assistance of a NH State Police K-9 to search the school. After a nearly one hour search no one was found inside the building.”
A review of surveillance footage revealed a lone white male allegedly entered the building and was recorded walking around the school. Education officials are working to find out what, if anything, may have been taken from the school, according to Thomas.
