Body Found on Concord Railroad Tracks Suspected to be an Untimely Death
Update: Death of Kai "Lloet" Henault, the man found between the Water Street bridge, Gas Street on Saturday, is still under investigation.

CONCORD, NH — The identity of a Concord man found on Saturday morning off Gas Street, almost underneath the Water Street bridge in the southern part of the city has officially been confirmed by police. The death of Kai “Lloet” Henault is still under investigation, according to police, but his passing is not considered suspicious, according to Deputy Chief Keith Mitchell of the Concord Police Department.
“This appears to be an untimely death but it is still under investigation, it is not deemed suspicious,” he noted in an email. “No further information will be given out at this time.”
Henault, who used the moniker “Kai Lloet” on Instagram and Facebook, was 25, and grew up in Farmington, according to friends and his roommate. He worked at a temp job in Manchester and was attending art school for a short period of time but never finished.

“(Henault was) just a creative guy working jobs to pay the bills, for the most part,” one friend noted in an email.
Henault was an avid cosplayer – the process of dressing up in characters from shows, games, or movies – at ComiCon and anime conventions. Some of the outfits can be seen on his Instagram site. One of his friends noted that Henault once dressed up as HIM – the devilish villain from “The Powerpuff Girls” series – and even Edgar Allen Poe, as well as other characters. He had a large, extended community of people that cared about him, according to his friends.

During the weekend, as news began to spread amongst his friends, some were trying to grapple with the loss while others were trying to find a way to honor and memorialize Henault’s life.
“To remember Kai, always have a good time, and don’t take things too seriously,” one stated.
“(And) make it weird,” another added.
Mary-Frances White, Henault's half-sister, called him an open, intensely creative and fun person, who will be remembered for being the life of the party.
"When we were kids we were always laughing, coming up with bizarre (and) creative activities that were mostly his idea and most of all having fun," she said.
White said it was obvious to her that he had "a huge circle of friends" and "was cherished by them, no matter how often they saw or how much time they spent with him," and brought many people together, including those facing gender identity and sexuality issues, at parties, raves, conventions, and was a huge support to them.
"His warmth, openness, and frivolousness that was loved by so many will be sorely missed by those who are now grieving this loss," she added. "He truly left us too soon, but everyone who ever met him will never forget him and we all carry his spirit with us."
No burial or obituary information was available at post time.
