Infant Dies At Nashua Day Care

Nashua police said a 15-month-old boy died after he was discovered not breathing at a possibly unlicensed day care on Ash Street.

NASHUA, NH — A 15-month-old boy died Wednesday after he was discovered not breathing at what police said may be an unlicensed Nashua day care on Ash Street. The day care was located in a residence at 131 Ash Street, according to Nashua police Lt. Kerry Baxter.

On Wednesday at about 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a call at the building after the boy was found unconscious and not breathing. Officers and firefighters immediately started CPR and the boy was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Several more infants were found at the residence, Baxter said. All were medically evaluated and determined to be OK.
