Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr. Auditions at the Palace Theatre

AUDITION ALERT

The Palace Theatre will be holding auditions for the Palace Youth Theatre’s production of Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR.

The Emmy Award-winning Saturday morning educational cartoon series and pop culture phenomenon is now the basis for one of the most fun musicals ever to hit the stage, Schoolhouse Rock Live! JR.

Auditions are for ages 8-18.

Audition time slots will be scheduled as follows:

• Saturday, February 13th - 10AM, 11AM, or Noon
• Monday, February 15th - 6PM, 7PM or 8PM

Expect to stay for your entire one-hour time slot. You will learn a dance and be asked to sing after.

SONGS TO AUDITION WITH are as follows...

• Three is a Magic Number
• Elbow Room
• Interplanet Janet

You MUST sing one of these songs at your audition if you would like to be considered for a featured soloist. Lyrics are provided in the information box of each video. If you would like to be considered for ensemble, you may sing a portion of any song acapella (no CD or sheet music necessary) that best shows off your voice.

YOU MUST SCHEDULE YOUR AUDITION TIME. If not, you may not be seen. To do so, please call the Box Office at 603-668-5588.

Once cast, there is a production fee of $125 and each child will receive one complimentary show t-shirt.
