Police Still Searching for Missing NH Woman

UPDATE: Sheila Brodne of Acworth has been missing since May 17; NHSP are looking for her and a maroon Subaru Forester. Have you seen her?

KEENE, NH - The New Hampshire State Police is asking for the public’s help finding a local woman who has been missing since yesterday afternoon, according to an alert.

State troopers from Troop C were sent to Acworth last night to speak with residents about a woman, Sheila Brodne, 57, of South Ackworth, who had been missing since about 2 p.m. on May 17, 2016.

“Mrs. Brodne left a note for her husband that she went shopping in the Keene area,” according to Trooper Michael J. McLaughlin of the NHSP. “Troopers initiated an investigation and canvased the area, but have been unable to locate Brodne or her vehicle.”

Brodne is 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs about 160 lbs. She has brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing mustard colored pants and a striped, long-sleeve, mustard colored shirt. Brodne is driving a 2015 maroon Subaru Forester NH plate 605388. Her rear license plate has a plate holder that reads “Love a nurse” or “I love a nurse,” according to state police.

State Police and Brodne’s family are concerned for her welfare and are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Brodne and her vehicle.

No foul play is suspected.

According to the Keene Sentinel, troopers are following up on a tip that she may have been spotted at Walmart in Keene on Wednesday.
